Marshneil Lal, LCSW, brings over a decade of experience walking alongside individuals through some of life’s most difficult moments. Since earning her Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University in 2010, she has supported clients across a wide range of settings—including crisis response, inpatient care, and community mental health—building a practice rooted in empathy, cultural awareness, and resilience.
Marshneil’s work is deeply shaped by her cultural heritage and lived experience as a Fijian woman, which informs her belief in the importance of connection, community, and honoring each person’s unique story. She specializes in helping adults navigate grief, life transitions, depression, and anxiety, and offers a compassionate, grounded presence to those facing complex emotional challenges.
With a strong commitment to inclusive care, Marshneil has worked extensively with LGBTQIA+ individuals, first-generation adults, new mothers, and survivors of high-control or oppressive environments. She practices through a trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and strengths-based lens, integrating evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and IFS. Her goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal and grow.
